Senior Debtors Clerk (m/f)

Duties

• Monitor and validate all invoices
• Prepare a debtor report and submit to Finance Officer on a monthly basis
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
• Maintain the computerized accounting system and financial files and records
• Maintain the accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all fund
• Establish and maintain cash controls
• Handle large volume of debtor transactions
• Deal with resident requests and queries e.g. billing inquiries, sending statements
• Regular follow up on outstanding debtors

Requisites

• Education: Minimum of Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in accounting
• Work Experience: 4-5 years’ experience as debtor (Handling large volume)
• Software: Solid experience with Pastel or other relevant accounting system
• Language Fluency in English and Portuguese
